Tim

Timothy was born in Clearwater, Florida. He has resided in Florida his entire life with the exception of his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame, College of Arts and Letters where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy in 1987. At Notre Dame, Tim received the distinction of Notre Dame Scholar. He was active in the Notre Dame Pre‑Law Society, Notre Dame Philosophy Club, Notre Dame Glee Club, Notre Dame Chorale and Notre Dame Marching Band/Varsity Band.

In 1991, Tim received his Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Florida, College of Law at Gainesville. There, he received the Book Award in Jurisprudence and had membership in the Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. During law school, he also held a Judicial Clerkship in the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County, Florida.

Tim was admitted to the Florida Bar in November 1991. He began his law career in Orlando representing Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees. His legal experience includes bankruptcy, personal injury, foreclosure litigation, general collection litigation, business transactional law, appellate practice, insurance litigation and commercial litigation.

Tim has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Currently, he is a member of the Florida Justice Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Clearwater Bar and the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association.

His hobbies include an a cappella quartet, piano, trumpet, intermediate level computer programming and the Italian language in which he is conversant. Tim comes from a large family with a proud tradition of attorneys, including his father Guy and his brothers, Mark, Greg and Terence.
